Don't have time to write much (rah rah), so I'll just let the pics speak for themselves ...

Had a wedding last weekend and as Rich resembled a shaggy dog, mum offered to cut his hair. Never seen anyone so petrified...

...but it looked all right on the night... Good wedding, too. However, you thought I would have learnt my lesson years ago NOT to drink with rugby boys... But I am pleased to say I not only kept up, but also managed to have the most amount of functioning brain cells the next day.(Which is a good feeling, I wish that would happen more often)
Don't you just love to look at people you don't know? Thought I'd include the whanau...

Christmas at the grandparents...

...and at the Jeffares'. Lisa and I with Cousin Laura. And a delightful young lady she is too...

Rich and Cousin Keiran. Being old school buddies they decided to catch up. In the kitchen. With several bottles of wine.
My father got a very special christmas present. A candy grabber. I've never seen such a sought after piece of machinery...

Needless to say, the conversation in our house was somewhat muted.

The Jeffares clan (minus the patriarch) all dolled up for the Boyes's annual New Years party. Aren't we a pretty bunch...

Helen got a wee bit excited at the blackjack table...

...and mum was loving the cocktails.
However, it all came to a head when a drunken 19-year-old running from the cops drove into our house.

Well, THAT was an interesting phone call. Mum stalked up to us yelling,"Someone just drove through our BLOODY HOUSE". And it was all go. Jumped in the car, squealed out of the driveway, swung onto Cassandra Street... police cars and fire trucks everywhere, not to mention half of Stratford.
Yeah, leaping out of the car looking like something out of a Chaplin movie, we managed to cement our position as Stratford's strangest family. Can't count how many times the cops walked past muttering, "Bit dressed up for the occasion aren't ya luv?"
So, all in all, it was a mad end to a mad year.
All the best for 2007!
